August 24 Reunion to feature two new Scottish Rite Degrees.

11th Degree
The 11th Degree, Elu of the Twelve, has been portrayed in the Des
Moines Valley for many years. However, when the Supreme Council updated the rituals, we were unable to change all of the degrees to the new format.
The 11th is one of our last degrees hat needed to be moved to the new format. Degree Master, Pat Griffin has made the needed changes to the set and is working with the cast to move to the new degree. The theme of the 11th degree is the administration of justice by judge and jury.

25th Degree
In addition to the 11th degree, our Summer One Day will feature the first ever presentation of the 25th Degree, Knight of the Brazen Serpent. This degree is part of the Ancient Mysteries and is set in Persia. It gives an introduction to Islam and the challenge of searching for light and truth in the proper place and frame of mind. Kevin Smith, 32° KCCH is the Degree Master.
