Flag Day Celebration and Cornerstone Capital Campaign Update June 14 The Friends of the Des Moines Consistory invite you to join us on June 14th for a special Flag Day Celebration and Cornerstone Capital Campaign Update.  The event will feature special presentations on the history of our flag, a tribute to patriotism, as well as a few songs to liven up the evening.  We will also provide you with an update on our Cornerstone Capital Campaign that began last summer.  We have started and completed several projects since the campaign began and want to share some additional good news with you regarding our fund raising campaign.  Social hour begins at 6:15 pm with dinner and program to follow at 7:15 pm. Now Taking Tee Times "Fore" the Scottish Rite Golf Outing It is the time for the annual Scottish Rite Golf outing.  This is your chance to take a Friday afternoon off and spend some time on the course.  Our friends at Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona, have generously allowed us a Friday afternoon to have our outing.  The cost is $80 per person.  It will include 18 holes of golf (cart included), prizes, and a steak dinner following play.  The event is an outing, so keep score if you want but the idea is to have fun.  It is open to all.  This might be a great chance to invite your non-Masonic golfing buddy along for a chance to see what we are all about.  When?  Friday June 29, 2012                                    Where?  Terrace Hills Golf Course, Altoona Time?  Shot gun start at 12:45 PM.
