2015 Ascension Service

This evening, the Des Moines Valley and the Des Moines York Rite bodies paid tribute to the brethren that have traveled to that place from which no traveler returns.

After a wonderful meal from the Kitchen Krew, and fellowship, the Des Moines Valley had a brief quarterly business meeting.  The Ascension Service followed with the traditional reading of the names of the departed, lighting of candles in remembrance, and toasts to their memories.

Another major project begins.
In 2014 the fly roof was replaced now this year its the Auditorium roof that's getting replaced.  These are 2 out of 3 major roofing sections that have been done. Thanks to members like you who have donated to the
Des Moines Building Trust. The building is in better shape than is was 10 years ago.  We wouldn't be able to do this replacement without the contributions that have been made.  We appreciate all who have helped make this project happen.
