Table Lodge- Fall Kick Off September 25, 2008

A Table Lodge was held as the Fall Kick Off at the Scottish Rite Temple.
"Wyld" Bill Youngclass was the Master of the Lodge and he did a Masterful job. His hat (not pictured) left something to be desired.
A delicious meal was prepared. Absolutely the best port chops I have ever eaten.
Good food, good friends, and a great time was had by all.
All of the pictures are at an on-line album- Click here.

A reception was held on Friday Night for those who wished to come over to the Scottish Rite Center following the Installation of officers at Grand Lodge. This is Bob Davis from Guthrie, Oklahoma who was the speaker at Grand Lodge visiting with Shane Harshbarger, Secretary-Registrar.
It just so happened that the even coincided with the birthday of Personal Rep. Bill Knoll.

An event at the Temple

The Scottish Rite Temple is a magical venue for many events. Today (September 5) the American Diabetes Association held a Gala at the Temple.

A "Gala" has a band and a dance.

The Banquet Room was transformed into a magical place.
Our modern Kitchen gets a full utilization for an event like this.
Over 400 people attended this "black tie" event

The elegant tables awaited the diners.
The social hour was held in the Tapestry Lounge,
A Silent Auction was held and a beautiful ice sculpture completed the very special event.
We can be very proud that our Temple is used by many organizations and individuals when they want an elegant, magical place to hold an event.
Many wedding receptions and other events are held here throughout the year. This helps us to support the Temple and brings many people into our building. The "premier Masonic Temple" in Iowa. We can be justly proud of this wonderful facility.
