The 2018 Fall Reunion and Double Eagle Gala are this upcoming weekend. Master of Kadosh, Greg Spooner and his lady, Stephanie, have put together a great event. Our banquet will honor two outstanding members of the Des Moines Consistory, James L. Bennett, 32° KCCH and William R. Jensen, 32° KCCH. Each of these men left their mark on Freemasonry in Central Iowa and in the Des Moines Scottish Rite. I am pleased to share with you that family members of both honorees will be in attendance at the banquet.
To that end, please make your reservations for the Double Eagle Gala prior to 10:00 am tomorrow morning, October 30th. I have to provide our caterer, Baratta's with final counts tomorrow morning. The cost is $45 per person and there is a choice of Beef Tenderloin, Salmon, or Chicken Amaggio. Reservations can be made by calling the SR office (515-288-8927) or via email (rsvp@dmscottishrite.org). We do need payment at time of reservation so please be prepared to provide your credit card information. Following the banquet will be music and dancing by Select Entertainment.
Our reunion activities continue this Friday evening at 5:00 pm with dinner in the 2nd floor Tapestry room. We will have grilled pork chops, au gratin potatoes, green beans, and chocolate cake. Cost is $10 per person. The 23rd degree, Chief of the Tabernacle begins in the auditorium at 6:00 pm. A full reunion schedule is listed below.

thren come together to share the special lessons of the Scottish Rite degrees with a new class of candidates. As we meet to witness and perform these degrees, the teachings of the Scottish Rite are exemplified to our new brothers and reinforced in us anew.

If you haven't been to a reunion in the past few years, please consider making a special trip to attend, it is important that our new Scottish Rite Masons see familiar faces on their special night.
Perfection and Chapter Rose Croix degrees and will finish the day with the 18th degree, Knight Rose Croix. Following the work, we will have a social hour for all in attendance.
