Now taking Tee Times "Fore" the Scottish Rite Golf Outing

Have you been out on the course this year? Have you smelled the fresh cut grass? Have you practiced your putting? Well, now is the time as the annual Scottish Rite Golf outing is fast approaching. This is your chance to take a Friday afternoon off and spend some time on the course. Our friends at Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona, have generously allowed us a Friday afternoon to have our outing. The cost is $80 per person. It will include 18 holes of golf (cart included), prizes, and a steak dinner following play. The event is an outing, so keep score if you want but the idea is to have fun. It is open to all. This might be a great chance to invite your non-Masonic golfing buddy along for a chance to see what we are all about.

When? Friday June 11, 2010
Where? Terrace Hills Golf Course, Altoona
Time? Shot gun start at 12:45 PM.
How Much? $80 includes Green Fees, cart, steak dinner, and prizes
Why? To have fun and raise money for Scottish Rite Care and the Des Moines Consistory Building Trust

Please call the office (515-288-8927) to reserve a place and/or to sponsor a hole.

We will ballot on petitions on April 14th but we would like to have the petitions in house as soon as possible. The fees remain the same. ($200 initiation fee + $100 dues = $300). Meet and Greet this Wednesday

Meet & Greet

The Des Moines Consistory will be hosting a “Meet and Greet” this Wednesday, April 14 from 4:30 pm to 7 pm. Please stop in for a few minutes or stay for awhile. If you have someone who might be interested in Scottish Rite this is a great way to introduce them to other Scottish Rite Masons in a casual relaxed environment.

This will also be a chance to bring in petitions for the Special Condensed Class

as they will be balloted on at the Officers Meeting that evening.
