Scottish Rite Express

Consistro Bistro (Ladies Night)

Our Master of Kadosh Brian Pappaducas and his lady Michelle invite you to join us on February 1st at the Consistro Bistro. A taste of Italy is on the menu with anti-pasta, a selection of pastas featuring red and white sauces, salad, garlic bread, and dessert. Our M of K has visited a number of our area restaurants to select a menu we think you will enjoy.

Following dinner, there will be live music by Mark Christensen. Mark plays guitar and sings a variety of music from Jimmy Buffet to Tim McGraw.

This is your chance to invite your lady to a Scottish Rite event where she is the guest of honor. It will also provide a great opportunity for fellowship as well. Your non-Masonic friends and family are invited to attend.

The dinner is $10, but we ask that you please make reservations by calling the Scottish Rite office at 515-288-8927 or sharshbarger@dmscottishrite.org

Super Bowl Party – Feb 3rd

The teams are set…It is Giants/Patriots this year, so join us for some good cheer. The Scottish Rite and the Young Shriners invite you to attend our Super Bowl Party on Super Bowl Sunday February 3rd. The party will be held in the Sky Box (Pool Room area on 4th floor) at the Des Moines Scottish Rite Masonic Center at 519 Park Street. Come cheer on the team you like the best, watch the game, shoot some pool, and enjoy the good company. The game is 5:18 Des Moines time, and we will be open around 4pm. The YOSHI are supplying the chili, and ask that you bring a side dish or snacks to share with everyone. There will be libations available. Please join us and have a good time. If you could let us know if you are planning to attend it would be appreciated. An email or a call to the office is all it takes.

AASR WORK DAY – February 9th

There will be a work day at the Scottish Rite on Feb 9th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. We will be working on a variety of “fix it” projects around the building. We need all types of skills; woodworking, plumbing, electrical, painting or just people like your secretary who doesn’t have any skills. The more the merrier. There will be coffee and donuts at 7:00 am with lunch at 12:00 pm. Join us if you can.
