Friends of the Consistory

In the past few years over 1 million dollars in renovations have been completed in our wonderful Consistory building. These projects have changed our Temple from a declining facility into one of Central Iowa’s crown jewels.
Tonight the Friends of Des Moines Consistory held a cocktail and heavy hors d’oeuvres party, live piano music by Bob Day, and our 2009 renovation project launch

Master of Kadosh, Mark Clark outlined plans to raise $135,000 for various projects throughout the building. We are well on our way to raise these funds but the projects can always use more donors. Lighting and sound for the auditorium, refurbishing the ladies restrooms (and the men's) and various other projects were outlined. As always a wonderful time was had by all and I even hears someone say that we needed to do more of these activities.

Here are the rest of the pictures.

And a little bit of Bob Day's magic music
