Masonic Unity Class

The Des Moines Valley welcomed 19 new Masters of the Royal Secret in the Masonic Unity One-Day Class (Marsengill, Watts, & Masters Class).

The 4th, 7th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 26th, 30th, and 32nd degrees were performed in full fashion.  This reunion marked the premier of the 26th degree (Prince of Mercy or Scottish Trinitarian) in the Des Moines Valley.  It performed by the officers of the Valley, who did excellent work.  The Des Moines Valley now performs 27 of the 29 degrees of the Scottish Rite at its full form reunions.

Following the conferral of the 32nd Degree, brothers, ladies, friends, and guests gathered in Tapestry Lounge for an excellent meal of BBQ pork and beef, with home-made potato salad and cole slaw, and finished off with ice cream.

After dinner, the Double-Eagle Choir entertained us with a musical portrayal of the 22nd Degree (Knight Royal Axe or Prince Libanus).  As usual, they were in fine form, with great music and work.
