Valley of Des Moines ---------------------------------- Orient of Iowa May 6, 2016 Masonic Cooperation:  Memorial & Ascension Service The officers of the Des Moines Lodge of Perfection and the Des Moines York Rite bodies invite you to our York Rite/Scottish Rite Ascension & Memorial Service to be held May 11, 2016.  The evening will begin with dinner at 6:15 pm.  There is no charge for the dinner but a reservation made with the SR Office would be greatly appreciated (515-288-8927rsvp@dmscottishrite.org).  The Scottish Rite Quarterly Meeting will be held at 7:00 pm in the Consistory Classroom The service of remembrance for our departed brothers from the York Rite and the Scottish Rite will be at 7:30 pm.  This event is open to Master Masons, their families and guests.

Scottish Rite Quarterly Meeting May 11, 2016 The Quarterly Meeting of the Des Moines Consistory will take place at 7:00 pm in the Consistory Classroom.  It will be followed by the Ascension and Memorial Service with the Des Moines York Rite Bodies.

The 2016 Summer Reunion will honor three members of the Knight Commander Court of Honour, Charles V. Carpenter, James "Scotty" McDonald Jr., and Robert J. Mickle. This reunion will begin with dinner on Friday evening, June 24th and will feature the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 14th degrees.  On Saturday, June 25th we will confer the 15th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 29th, 30th, and 32nd degrees.  This shortened reunion format will allow a Master Mason to complete his journey through the Scottish Rite in just one weekend, yet still receive many of the great lessons and lectures of our degrees.
