SR Express - Fall Reunion Schedule

October 23, 2017 Fall Reunion unites new members and old. The Des Moines Valley of Scottish Rite kicked off  the 1st weekend of the Fall Reunion honoring Ill. Brother JamesSpoerl, 33° on Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st. On Friday evening the class was received and welcomed by Master of Kadosh, W. Charles Smithson, 33° and the ranking officers of the Lodge of Perfection, Chapter Rose Croix, and the Council of Kadosh of the Des Moines Scottish Rite.   The members of the James A. Wagner   Gnemeth #577     Topline Signer: Richard Koch, Jr., 33° Following the opening, the 4th through 8th Degrees were presented before adjourning for the evening.  Labor resumed at 8am on Saturday morning, beginning with the 9th &; 10th Degrees and then followed by the 11th through 14th Degrees. An excellent steak sandwich lunch was prepared by the Kitchen Krew.  The afternoon picked up where we left off with the 15th through 18th Degrees being presented.  A social hour capped the day with light hors d'oeuvres, and libations being served by the Kitchen Krew and Knights of St. Andrew. A very sincere thank you to all of committees who worked hard to receive in our new Scottish Rite Masons. We couldn't have done it without our Kitchen Krew, Class Marshals, Knights of St. Andrew, Lights & Sound, Stage Crew, Tylers, Wardrobe, Choir and of course the Ritualists. Please put Thursday, Oct 26th on your calendar as we will be performing the 19th through 22nd degrees that evening beginning at 5:45pm. The 2nd weekend of the Reunion will be Friday and Saturday, Nov. 10-11th with the 23rd through 32nd Degrees being performed followed the Des Moines Scottish Rite Gala, "A Night in London".
