Scottish Rite Updates

This will be a busy week at Scottish Rite with a number of degree rehearsals and reunion preparations taking place. Please take a couple of minutes to review the events and activities that are on the upcoming schedule.

Balloting on Petitions (March 25)
The 2009 Spring reunion begins in just 5 days! The final balloting on petitions will take place this Wednesday, March 25th at 5:00 pm in the 33rd degree room. So if you have petitions for the upcoming Paul Knapp memorial reunion (March 27/28 & April 17/18), please turn them in to the office as soon as possible. The fee to join AASR is $300 a petition and the spring reunion schedule is attached to this email. We can vote on petitions for the Kenyon class (April 17/18) as well. Please contact the office if you have any questions.

Scottish Rite Meet & Greet (March 25)
We had our first meet and greet last Wednesday, I think were about 20 attendees total, as some people came early and others later. Our next “meet and greet” is this Wednesday, March 25th. These events are a chance to stop in after work and share in the fellowship of Scottish Rite. We will have snacks and drinks available. It is also a time to bring prospective members so they can see some of what the Scottish Rite has to offer. If you know someone who would be a good addition to the fraternity, feel free to invite him.

Stop in anytime from 4:30 pm to 7 pm on the following dates: March 25 / April 1 / April 15
We will be meeting in the Consistory Library on 2nd Floor.
