AASR Dinner, Quarterly Meeting and Elections
September 9th will be our quarterly dinner and meeting of the Des Moines Scottish Rite bodies. All Scottish Rite Masons are invited. The dinner will be held at 6:30 pm and will feature grilled hamburgers, baked beans, coleslaw, and dessert for $10. The quarterly meeting of the Des Moines Consistory will be at 7:30 pm. Agenda items will include a report on the actions of the Supreme Council at the biennial session, building renovation progress, 2016 reunion plans, committee reports, and an update from our membership committee. Also, at this meeting elections will be held for the elective offices of the Consistory and Chapter Rose Croix.
Elected officers for Des Moines Consistory are the Master of Kadosh, Prior, Preceptor, Chancellor, Minister of State, and Almoner. Elected officers of the Chapter Rose Croix are the Wise Master, Senior Warden, and Junior Warden.
Dress for the dinner and meeting is business attire and Scottish Rite cap.
